Do you charge more because we are out of Omaha?

No. We quote the work, not the mileage. What the distance does change is scheduling: we batch jobs out this way, so calling before the post-storm rush usually gets you a better date than calling during it.

Can you do the house and the shop at the same time?

Yes, and it is almost always cheaper than two visits. The crew, the setup and the haul-away are already on site. Tell us every structure you want quoted when we come out and it goes on one estimate.

The storm hit Omaha. Would it have reached us?

Sometimes, and not always in the way you would guess. Storm paths are narrow and a system can hammer one town and skip the next. The only way to know is for someone to get on the roof and photograph it, which costs you nothing.

Working in Wahoo

Wahoo is close enough to Omaha that the same storm system hits both, and far enough out that a lot of contractors quietly decline the drive. We do not. Our crews run out here the same as they run to Elkhorn, and the estimate you get is for the work, not for the mileage.

The housing stock splits cleanly. Around the courthouse square there are homes that have been through several roofs already, with layered shingles, original fascia and chimneys that need flashing bent on site rather than pulled out of a box. Out toward the edges of town and on the acreages there are newer builds with builder-grade materials coming up on their first replacement, plus outbuildings, shops and long runs of fence that town lots never have.

That second group is why we like working out here. A property with a house, a shop and four hundred feet of fence line is a job where having roofing, siding, gutters and fencing under one contract actually saves you something, instead of coordinating three companies around each other and hoping their schedules line up.
