Siding in Omaha & Lincoln
Low-maintenance siding that lifts curb appeal for decades, not seasons.
Siding done the Paragon way
Siding is the part of your house everyone sees and almost nobody thinks about until it is faded, cracked, or letting water in behind it. It is also the layer that decides whether your walls stay dry. Most siding problems we get called for are really water problems: a window flashed wrong, a trim joint that opened up, house wrap that was never lapped properly. The panels get the blame. The install is the cause.
That is why we treat what is under the siding as the job. House wrap, flashing around every window and door, kick-out flashing where a roof meets a wall, and trim that sheds water instead of trapping it. Then the panels go on straight, with the right gaps for Nebraska temperature swings, so they do not buckle in July or crack in January.
We install vinyl, fiber cement and engineered wood, and we will show you samples on your house rather than in a showroom. If only one side is damaged, we will tell you honestly whether a partial replacement will match or stand out.
Signs it is time
When to call about siding
Faded, chalky or warped panels
Sun and heat take the color and the shape out of old vinyl. Once it warps, water gets behind it.
Cracks, holes or hail dings
Hail that damaged your roof usually marked the siding on the same side of the house. It is worth checking while a claim is open.
Peeling paint or soft spots inside
Bubbling paint or a soft patch of drywall near a window is water coming through the wall, and siding is the first place to look.
Higher heating bills
Gaps and failed wrap let air move through the wall. New siding is a chance to fix the wall itself, and the look comes with it.
Trim rotting at the corners
Rotting corner boards and window trim mean water has been sitting there for a while.
You are tired of painting it
If the house needs paint every few years, fiber cement or vinyl ends that cycle.
What we install
Siding options we build with
Vinyl siding
The budget-friendly choice that still looks clean for decades when it is installed with the right gaps and a proper wrap underneath. Wide color and profile range, almost no maintenance.
Fiber cement
Heavier, hail-tough and paintable. Holds a crisp painted look for years and handles our temperature swings better than anything else in the price range.
Engineered wood
The look of real wood siding without the rot and the constant upkeep. A good pick for older homes and anyone who wants deep, real shadow lines.
Soffit, fascia and trim
Usually part of the same project. New siding with old rotting fascia looks unfinished, and it is the easiest time to do both.

- Material choice: vinyl, fiber cement or engineered wood
- How much sheathing or trim underneath needs repair once the old siding is off
- Number of windows, doors and corners, which is where the detail work lives
